The major update on the new Q3 includes a completely redesigned exterior and interior design. The fascia now features a new Singleframe grille with a 2D Audi logo, new split LED Matrix headlights, and new daytime running lights. The side profile packs the new dual-tone alloy wheels and a sporty bodyline. The Sportback version gets a sloping roofline with a ducktail rear design. Meanwhile, the rear design gets new sleek LED taillights with an illuminated Audi logo and a light band that connects the taillights.
Step inside, and a new dashboard with a new four-spoke steering wheel welcomes you. The steering column houses the gearshift lever, while a new dual-screen setup is tilted towards the driver. There is an optional passenger entertainment screen as well. New interior features include cabin ambient LED lighting, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats with electronic adjustment, a three-zone AC, electric tailgate, etc.
The new-gen Q3 also gets the Level 2 ADAS safety suite that includes high-beam assist, traffic sign recognition, rear-cross traffic alert, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, etc.
Powering the new Q3 is the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol (TFSI) engine that comes paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and Audi Quattro all-wheel-drive configuration as standard. This powertrain makes 201 bhp and 320 Nm of power and torque.
With that said, Audi will soon announce the price of the new-gen Q3 in the coming weeks. It is likely to be launched around Rs 65 lakh, and it will compete with the BMW X1 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA.
