While a mildly updated Scorpio N was recently launched in India, it is still not a proper facelift. However, Mahindra is working on a properly facelifted Scorpio N, which is expected to arrive by the end of next year. The front grille design of the new SUV has been patented online recently, giving us a hint of what to expect from it.
2027 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift: New design
The latest design patent for the upcoming Scorpio N facelift’s front grille shows that the new SUV will pack a big revamp in terms of looks. The new grille design patent was leaked online, which packs a squared-off design with horizontal bars and squared-off patterns in between. There is also a big central logo area that will bear the new Mahindra logo on the production version.
A test mule was also spotted recently with a similar front grille, which indicated that Mahindra is working on a big revamp for its most popular SUV. The Scorpio N was launched in 2022, and its latest update came in the form of new alloys and some feature additions. While these updates are worth it for a while, a big revamp is now required, which Mahindra is working on.
The new Scorpio N will also pack a redesigned interior, which is probably expected to focus on more space, more comfort, and the latest technology. While we are not sure, Mahindra could add a connected screen display on the upcoming Scorpio N facelift.
Mechanically, the Scorpio N facelift is likely to feature a new hardware setup, which could include a reworked suspension for improved ride quality and control, revamped power and torque outputs for the diesel and petrol engine options, and more off-road-centric options like an underbody view camera, new off-road modes, etc.
The Scorpio N facelift could be launched next year around August 15 at Mahindra’s annual event. However, it won’t be anytime before 2027 end that we get to experience the new Scorpio N facelift.
