TVS Apache RTX launched in 20 years of Apache livery

Key highlights

  • TVS pulls the wraps off a special 20 Years of Apache edition of the new Apache RTX.
  • The anniversary livery uses a black and champagne gold theme with exclusive 20-year badging.
  • The reveal takes place at MotoSoul 5.0 alongside custom builds and new Ronin showcases.

TVS has revealed the Apache RTX in a special 20 Years of Apache livery, celebrating two decades of the Apache brand in India. If you’ve followed the Apache journey from the OG RTR 160 days to the tech-packed machines of today, this one hits right in the nostalgia.

What’s different?

The special anniversary edition gets a unique black and champagne gold finish that immediately sets it apart from the standard motorcycle. TVS has also added limited-edition branding and a commemorative 20-year crest on the motorcycle to mark the milestone.

While TVS has not announced any mechanical changes exclusive to this edition, the Apache RTX platform already comes loaded with race-derived engineering. The anniversary model exists purely to celebrate the Apache story, and for many riders, that’s more than enough reason to want one parked in their garage.

Specifications

The TVS Apache RTX uses a 299.1 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces around 36 PS and 28.5 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter with assist and slipper clutch. It rides on a steel trellis frame with 41 mm USD forks and a mono-tube rear shock offering 180 mm travel, while a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup handles mixed terrain. Braking comes from a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS and switchable rear ABS. Features include four ride modes, traction control, cruise control, TPMS, and a 5-inch colour TFT with smartphone connectivity.

Apache DNA

Apache has always used motorsport as its backbone, carrying TVS Racing DNA from track to road. This special edition pays homage to that philosophy while reminding the industry that 20 years is no small feat, especially in a segment that changes direction faster than the bikes that race in it.
