TVS Aegis Rider Vision helmet features explained
The newly introduced helmet is called ‘Vision’, as TVS has carefully designed and curated this product for enhanced rider safety. To create this helmet, TVS has partnered with Aegis Rider, a brand that develops rider safety technology and products.
Speaking of the details, this helmet is made out of a carbon fibre shell that is ECE 22.06 and DOT approved for the shell and outer safety. Meanwhile, it uses the OLED projection tech that shows the important data like the navigation, call/sms alerts, speed, road alerts, etc, by using a spatial anchoring projector in the field of vision of the rider.
Other crucial features of this helmet include the built-in action camera, wireless connectivity, adaptive brightness control, over-the-air updates, music support, and more. Powering this helmet is a 7,000 mAh battery, which also enables its connectivity with the TVS motorcycles via a dedicated companion app.
The brand will launch this helmet in the near future, as the prototype showcased has already reached the end of the development. With all the certifications in hand soon, this will become the first HUD-equipped helmet to launch in India.
