What to expect from the Honda City facelift?
As per the latest online reports, Honda will introduce a mild facelift of the City next year in India. As the sedan was previously updated in 2023, this facelift will serve as a gap stop until the next-gen City arrives globally in 2028.
So, what to expect from it? We believe that Honda will stick to its subtle update and upgrade nature with the new facelift of the City. This means that there will be slight cosmetic changes, probably redesigned bumpers, new foglight housings, and new alloy wheels. To add more flavour, Honda might offer new colour contrasts.
On the inside, the Japanese carmaker is likely to update the City with the new dual-tone theme and leather upholstery on the top-spec variants. The updated model might as well get more advanced features, including the new ambient lights, etc.
Honda’s 1.5-litre i-Vtec engine requires no change, and it will be carried over as it is on the updated model as well. This engine comes paired with the options of a 6-speed MT or a CVT automatic gearbox.
As far as the timeline is concerned, Honda might launch the updated model by mid-2026 with a slight price revision.
