In a major announcement, BMW India has confirmed that it has scheduled 6 new car launches for the domestic market in 2026. Moreover, the brand will launch 4 new facelifts and 17 technological updates this year in India. Read for more details below.

BMW India plans to go big this year with 6 new cars
A recent media interaction of a top BMW India official has revealed that the brand has massive plans for expansion in the domestic market this year. BMW will launch six new cars in India, whose details were not shared in the media interview.
However, online reports hint that the new iX and the i5 Long Wheelbase are scheduled to debut in the first quarter of 2026. Moreover, the brand plans to introduce the X6 M60i sports-coupe SUV in India this year by April 2026, and it could be priced at Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom), rivaling the Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG Coupe SUV.
Meanwhile, BMW-owned MINI is also planning a similar massive move. The brand plans to introduce 10 new cars in India this year. Similar to the BMW, MINI’s launch plan details were also not revealed in the interview.
Additionally, BMW will also launch 4 new facelifts this year in India, and 17 technological updates will be rolled out as well.
