Skoda has officially announced that its new flagship SUV will be called Peaq. It is the production-spec version of the Vision 7S concept that was displayed at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Check its more details below.

What to expect from the upcoming Skoda Peaq?
By deciding Peaq as the final nameplate for the production-spec Vision 7S model, Skoda has broken its own hierarchy of nameplating its electric vehicles with ‘E-‘ as the starting name. However, apart from the name, Peaq will offer a lot more than the other EVs of the brand.
Peaq, aka Vision 7S, is Skoda’s upcoming flagship electric SUV that will offer 7-seater layout. It is based on the MEB architecture, which will comes equipped with a 89 kWh battery pack. While Skoda is yet to confirm whether it will be a FWD or an AWD model, the production-spec Peaq will offer 600 km of range, and it will also support fast charging of up to 200 kW.
With that said, Skoda had released the teaser images of the Peaq in March 2025, which showscased the new design, aka Modern Solid philosophy, which will offer the new T-shaped LED lights, and a sleek design.
The world debut of the Skoda Peaq EV is expected by mid-2026, and it is expected to launch in India by 2027.
