Jeep India has taken a clear swing at long-term ownership anxiety with the launch of Confidence 7, a new premium assurance program designed for the Compass and Meridian. In simple terms, this is Jeep saying it wants to stay with you long after the showroom handover and not disappear after the warranty booklet ends.
Confidence 7 brings together warranty, maintenance, roadside support, buyback assurance, and service privileges into a single umbrella. The focus is obvious. Reduce surprises. Cut uncertainty. Make premium SUV ownership feel predictable rather than stressful.
At the heart of the program sits a coverage period of up to seven years. This includes extended warranty and maintenance support, which helps owners lock in service costs early. Jeep also adds seven years of roadside assistance, which matters if you actually use these SUVs for road trips and not just mall hopping.
The headline feature is the Assured Buyback program. Jeep promises a guaranteed future value of up to 60 percent of the vehicle’s ex-showroom price. The exact figure depends on how long you keep the car and how much you drive it. This step directly addresses resale value fears, especially in a market where depreciation can hit hard once the new-car smell fades.
Jeep has also bundled in Courtesy Edge support. If your car stays at the service center for more than two days for non-accidental repairs, Jeep steps in with a replacement vehicle or taxi support. Add to this priority service lanes and a 90-minute service turnaround for select jobs, and the brand clearly wants to reduce downtime complaints.
Pricing for the Confidence 7 package starts at around INR 41,926 for the Compass and INR 47,024 for the Meridian. When spread across several years, Jeep claims this works out to roughly the cost of a daily cup of tea. Whether that math convinces buyers will depend on how much they value peace of mind.
