BMW M2 CS: Everything you need to know
The all-new M2 CS is now available in limited numbers at Rs 1.66 crore (ex-showroom). The M2 CS is a track-focused model that offers more performance and power than the standard model.
Powering the M2 CS is the 3.0-litre, inline-six, twin-turbo engine that develops 530 bhp and 650 Nm. It is paired to a dual-clutch 8-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, sending the power to the rear wheels. The M2 CS is claimed to do 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and it has a top speed of 302 km/h.
On the outside, it features a carbon fibre bonnet and roof, which makes it 30 kg lighter than the standard M2. Additionally, the design changes includes the new grille with a new front bumper splitter. It also gets the new CS-spec 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) lightweight alloy wheels. The rear is equipped with a new ducktail spoiler and a new bumper with integrated splitters and quad exhausts.
On the inside, the M2 CS features carbon fibre highlights on the dashboard, central console, and door panels. It also gets the lightweight carbon fibre Alcantara-wrapped race seats and M-spec steering wheel. In terms of features, it gets a massive dual-screen display and a 14-speaker Harman sound system.
