What has changed on the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z?

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

The 2026 Pulsar NS400Z now gets a downsized 350cc engine to gain benefit from the GST 2.0 taxation slabs. The downsized engine is the same as the new Dominar 400’s unit, and it offers 40.6 PS and 33.2 Nm of peak power and torque.

The outgoing model was packed with a 373.27cc engine, and the latest bike now features a 349.16cc engine. The new engine is also liquid-cooled, and it has been derived from the old engine by reducing its stroke from 60 mm to 56.1 mm. The 6-speed gearbox remains unchanged.

While Bajaj’s official website quotes a Rs 1,96,900 (ex-showroom) price, which is the same as the previous model, we believe it will be dropped substantially soon. In a similar fashion, the newly introduced 350cc Dominar 400 became Rs 37,000 cheaper than the previous version. Hence, we expect the same price drop for the Pulsar NS400Z.

Apart from the downsized engine, there is no other change on the motorcycle. It continues featuring the committed riding posture, and customers can opt between four colours: Brooklyn Black, Pearl White Metallic, Glossy Racing Red, and Pewter Grey.
