What is new on the 2026 Bajaj Chetak?
The newly updated Chetak electric scooter has received a host of changes and updates. For starters, the range-topping C3501 variant now gets the Google Maps integration within the Chetak mobile app, which offers a more user-friendly navigation support.
Additionally, the C3502 variant is now compatible with OTA or over-the-air updates. This will improve the future updates for the screen, features, and powertrain performance.
Meanwhile, all variants now feature an improved top speed. The range-topping variant is now equipped with a more powerful 4.8 kW electric motor, which has improved the top speed from 73 km/h to 80 km/h.
On the other hand, the C3503 and C3001 variants can now touch 70 km/h, whereas the C2501 variant can reach up to 60 km/h. Bajaj has also improved the charging on the C3001 variant, as it can be charged to 80% in 2h 55m, which saves nearly an hour from the previous charging time.
The C35 and C30 trims now get the Hill-Hold Assist and Ride Modes (Eco and Sport) as standard, as opposed to paid add-ons previously.
