What to expect from the upcoming Mini Countryman C?

The soon-to-be-launched Countryman C will be priced at Rs 58.50 lakh. It will be the first Mini model to be locally assembled in India. The upcoming Countryman C will be a CKD model, and it will be assembled at BMW’s production plant.

With that said, the new Countryman C will be the biggest Mini model on sale in India. It measures 4.45 metres in length and 2.69 metres in wheelbase, thus offering decent space for four adults in the cabin.

The Countryman C will be offered in a single, fully-loaded variant. It will be offered in four colour options, while the cabin will offer leather upholstery, a 9-inch OLED oval infotainment console, an HUD, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging with a cooling pad, an electric tailgate, and ADAS safety features like the 360-degree camera and more.

Powering it will be the BMW X1-sourced 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that churns out 170 bhp and 280 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and comes with a front-wheel drive configuration as standard.

Mini has already commenced the pre-bookings of the Countryman C on April 22. It is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. It will rival the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Audi Q3.
