The next-gen Hyundai Creta was spotted in the US, revealing new details. It is going to be based on a new platform, which will be similar to Kia’s K3 architecture that debuted on the current Seltos in India. Hence, the new-gen Creta will be longer, wider, and more spacious than the current model.

However, the most interesting detail that got revealed in these spy images is its interior. While we only have a single picture of its dashboard, the new design of the dashboard and the new Pleos Connect infotainment screen are clearly visible.

Mind you, Hyundai Pleos Connect is the latest infotainment software developed by the company. It packs a host of AI assistant features and also gets the OTA updates. This infotainment system aims to transform the upcoming Creta into a Software Defined Vehicle.

Meaning that the new infotainment will be compatible with online software updates that can potentially tune the ECU, suspension, and other critical components of the car in the future. Since it is a new system, a big floating screen is placed at the centre of the dashboard to control the various functions of the car, while the driver’s console is a small screen that displays the necessary information.

Hyundai has also incorporated numerous vehicle controls in this system. Meanwhile, the gear lever has been moved to the steering column, which will use a shift-by-wire technology to switch between the gears.

On the outside, the new-gen Creta test mule packs a completely revamped design. It has been painted in silver colour, and the new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels look fabulous on it. With that said, the new-gen Creta is expected to be launched in India in early 2027.
