- 2026 Renault Kwid facelift to launch on July 3
- It will get a similar design update as the Dacia Spring
- Likely to remain mechanically unaltered
Renault is all set to introduce a new mid-life update for the Kwid hatchback in India. The updated 2026 Kwid facelift has been announced to launch on July 3.
What to expect from the 2026 Renault Kwid facelift?
The all-new Kwid facelift will offer a big cosmetic makeover that will be inspired by the global-spec Dacia Spring hatchback. On the outside, it will feature a new front fascia with Y-shaped daytime running LED lights, sharper headlights, a new grille, and a redesigned bumper with black cladding and silver accents.
On the side, it will retain its greenhouse and overall silhouette, but the new wheel caps and new colour options will set it apart from the current model. Similarly, the rear design is also expected to get a set of new taillights, a redesigned rear bumper, and new lettering.
The interior layout is also expected to undergo a big update on the Kwid facelift. It is expected to get a new instrument console, a new steering wheel, and a bigger infotainment screen along with the redesigned dashboard. We also anticipate that Renault will add new features to it, including fast-charging USB ports, a new dual-tone theme, wireless connectivity, six airbags, and more.
Mechanically, the Kwid facelift will remain unchanged. It will continue to be offered with the 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine making 67 bhp and 91 Nm. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.
With the new updates, the Kwid facelift is expected to be priced slightly above the current model.
