Yamaha has taken another step towards cleaner mobility in India with the launch of the FZ Blue Flex. Priced at Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the motorcycle is designed to run on ethanol-blended fuels from E20 to E85, making it one of the few flex-fuel motorcycles currently available in the country.
The launch aligns with the government’s push towards higher ethanol blending and alternative fuel technologies, while expanding Yamaha’s portfolio of sustainable mobility solutions.
Engine and performance
The FZ Blue Flex is powered by Yamaha’s familiar 149cc air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine, which has been re-engineered to support multiple ethanol blends.
