The latest online reports hint that Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is preparing the launch of the XR300L and the XR300 Rally dual-sport motorcycles by November 2026. Both ADV bikes were recently showcased at a big event, where these models became the show-stopper among a pool of 10 models.

What to expect from the Honda XR300L & XR300 Rally?

The new XR300L and XR300 Rally are expected to be launched in November this year. Both models underpin the CB300F’s 293.5cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine, producing 26.9 bhp and 26.6 Nm of power and torque, respectively. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and reports hint that it gets a slipper clutch as standard.

Honda recently held a big two-wheeler event, where it showcased its 10 upcoming middleweight premium two-wheelers. The XR300L and XR300 Rally attracted the most eyeballs, as these models eye India’s rapidly growing dual-sport ADV segment that has rivals like the Hero Xpulse 210 and Kawasaki KLX230.

While Honda might be late to the party, both of these ADVs look and feel rightly placed. The design is sleek, and it looks like both models will be easy to ride and handle on- and off-road. The XR300L is more of a minimal dual-sport with basic kit that includes wired spoke rims, a small LED headlight, a small TFT console, and an upright riding stance.

Meanwhile, the XR300 Rally boasts a long-travel suspension, a taller windscreen, knuckle guards, and all-terrain tyres, hinting at long-distance touring compatibility along with off-roading capabilities. While Honda did not reveal the specifications of both bikes, we believe that these will get features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, and more.

With that said, the XR300L could be priced around Rs 2-2.20 lakh, while the XR300 Rally could be priced around Rs 2.30-2.50 lakh, both ex-showroom. Honda will retail both models through its BigWing premium dealerships present in the megacities.
