Skoda India is all set to reveal the new Slavia facelift tomorrow. Ahead of its official reveal, a new teaser shows the redesigned exterior highlights of the new model. Mind you, this will be the first mid-life update of the Slavia since its launch in 2022.
2026 Skoda Slavia facelift: What to expect?
The new teaser shows the redesigned exterior bits of the Slavia facelift. While the exact details are yet to surface, the teaser shows the new LED taillights that look sharper than before. Moreover, the teaser car has a similar Steel Grey exterior paint to the new Skoda Kushaq facelift.
The Slavia will also get the new dual-tone alloys, although the profile and stance of the wheels are most likely to be unchanged. Other expected updates will include the new bumpers with a sleeker profile, redesigned front grille with segmented LED daytime lights, new LED projector headlights, new foglight housings, and illuminated Skoda lettering at the rear.
On the inside, Skoda is likely to add thoughtful changes. The new Slavia facelift will get a bigger infotainment screen with wireless connectivity, a new digital driver display with a redesigned user interface, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, new cabin ambient LED lighting, etc. Sadly, the Slavia facelift will miss out on the 360-degree camera and the ADAS safety features because of the incompatibility of the current platform.
Powering the Slavia facelift will be the same engine options as before. The 1.5-litre TSI engine will continue to be offered with a single 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox choice. Meanwhile, the 1.0 TSI engine will now get a new 8-speed AT gearbox carried over from the Kushaq facelift. The mid and lower variants of the 1.0 TSI will get the 6-speed manual gearbox.
With that said, the new Slavia facelift will launch tomorrow in India. Stay tuned to get all the latest information about it.
