Harley-Davidson X440 latest price hike details

The latest price hike for the X440 has lifted the sticker price of the cruiser motorcycle to Rs 2.60-2.86 lakh, ex-showroom. As per the details, the ‘S’ variant of the X440 is now costlier by a minimal Rs 1,000 as compared to the previous price. Meanwhile, the ‘T’ variant is now costlier by Rs 2,000 as compared to the previous price.

With that said, the company had also increased the prices of the X440 in June 2026. The previous price hike was up to Rs 5,000. Now, the new X440 will cost you more than ever before.

The X440 was co-developed with Hero MotoCorp, where the latter introduced it with its own nameplate called ‘Maverik’. However, as destiny had it, the Maverik failed, and the X440 also struggled with a slow response. But before giving up, Harley introduced a new variant of the X440 called ‘T’, which ultimately pushed sales for the brand.

The X440 is a laid-back cruiser with a relaxed riding position and performance that suits a more relaxed riding style. It is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled motor that makes 27 bhp and 38 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a slipper clutch as well.

The ‘T’ variant is a tech-loaded version that offers a ride-by-wire throttle, Road and Rain riding modes, a dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control, a redesigned subframe as compared to the ‘S’ variant for a sportier riding appeal, and a 3.5-inch TFT instrument screen with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones.
