- Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 showcased in Brazil
- Global debut is scheduled at EICMA 2026 in November
- India launch is expected by early 2027
Royal Enfield has recently showcased the pre-production prototype of the upcoming Himalayan 750 adventure bike in Brazil. The displayed prototype bike was the same one that was showcased at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. The brand is expected to reveal it in production form at this year’s EICMA in November 2026.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: What do we know so far?
The upcoming Himalayan 750 is deemed to be the new flagship motorcycle of the brand globally. Royal Enfield has been testing it for a long time now, and the brand has already showcased it twice, with the Brazilian showcase being the latest one.
In terms of the design, it boasts a road-oriented ADV design, unlike the Himalayan 450, which is a more rugged off-roader. Since the Himalayan 750 will weigh substantially more than the 450, it will be best suited for touring. This is exactly what one can see through its design.
The displayed prototype shows a taller windscreen, a smaller 19-inch front tyre with a cross-spoked tubeless rim, an upright riding posture with a tubular handle, a big fuel tank that we suspect could be around 19 litres, a twin-seat design, and a two-in-one exhaust setup with an upswept end-can design.
With these, it also gets retro-inspired elements like the circular LED headlight and a round TFT screen similar to the Himalayan 450. The Himalayan 750 will also become the most tech-loaded bike of the brand. The prototype has a joystick to operate the menu, a cruise control button, adjustable USD forks, (expected) adjustable rear monoshock, and features like the ride-by-wire throttle, ride and traction modes, Google Maps navigation, and lean-sensitive ABS are likely to be offered as standard.
Two variants & 750cc engine
We believe that the Himalayan 750 will arrive in two guises: a road-focused and an off-road-focused (the one seen here). The road-focused version has been spotted earlier with the 17-inch alloy wheels, while the latter gets the cross-spoked tubeless tyres and adjustable suspension. Differentiating these variants will be the list of features, with the off-road variant likely to boast more tech.
Coming to the main part, it will feature a reworked 648cc parallel-twin engine from the current 650cc lineup. The increased capacity will position it in the 750cc category with a slight bump in power and torque. We expect it to offer around 55 bhp and 65 Nm. These figures will place the Himalayan 750 against the upcoming Norton Atlas GT.
With that said, the production version will be unveiled at the EICMA 2026 in Italy in November this year. Royal Enfield could preview the bike in India at Motoverse 2026, while the price announcement could take place in the first quarter of 2027.
Online rumours and our expectations suggest that the Himalayan 750 could be priced around Rs 5 lakh, making it the costliest motorcycle of the brand.
