Ultraviolette launches riding academy for track and off-road training

Key highlights

  • Ultraviolette launches a structured riding academy for track and off-road training
  • Track Attack and Into the Wild will now offer Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 certification
  • Programme will cover everything from motorcycle control and braking to racing lines and technical terrain

Ultraviolette is taking its performance-focused approach to motorcycles beyond the machines themselves. The company has announced the launch of a rider training academy that brings its existing Track Attack and Into the Wild programmes under one structured training and certification platform.

This makes it the first electric two-wheeler manufacturer globally to launch a riding academy for track and off-road training and certification.

Three levels of training

Level 1 will establish the fundamentals, including motorcycle control and safety. Level 2 will introduce more technical riding situations, while Level 3 will focus on advanced techniques and higher-intensity riding.

Importantly, riders won’t simply progress because they have attended a particular number of sessions. They will have to clear an assessment at every level before moving to the next stage.

The training will combine classroom instruction with practical sessions at controlled racetracks and off-road locations. Certified instructors, including National Champions, will lead the programmes.

Track Attack

The track-focused Track Attack programme will cover areas such as racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control, body positioning, overtaking awareness and lap consistency. Safety will remain a key part of the curriculum, with riders also being taught track etiquette, flag protocols, protective equipment and pre-ride motorcycle checks.

This should make the programme more than just a chance to take an Ultraviolette motorcycle around a circuit. The objective is to teach riders why a motorcycle behaves the way it does when pushed harder.

Into the Wild

Ultraviolette’s Into the Wild programme, meanwhile, is aimed at off-road riding. Training will include body positioning, balance, throttle and brake control, off-road cornering, terrain assessment, obstacle navigation and motorcycle recovery.

The first Level 1 Into the Wild session will be held in Bengaluru on August 23, 2026, followed by a Track Attack session on September 27. Ultraviolette says it plans to build a year-round training calendar across a growing network of racetracks and off-road destinations in India.
