TVS Motor Company has marked an important milestone for its electric scooter business with the launch of the iQube MillionR Special Edition. The new version celebrates the iQube crossing the one-million customer milestone and brings a few cosmetic as well as practical upgrades to the popular electric scooter.
Priced at Rs 1,40,138 (ex-showroom, Karnataka), the MillionR Edition is based on the 3.5 kWh version of the iQube. It has a claimed 145 km IDC range.
New Aurora Green colour
The most obvious change is the new Aurora Green Dual Tone paint scheme, which TVS says is inspired by the Northern Lights. The special edition also gets premium seat upholstery, exclusive MillionR badging and new graphics, giving it a visual identity that separates it from the regular iQube range.
More storage and a Type-C port
TVS has added a front utility storage compartment to the MillionR Edition. This takes the scooter’s overall storage capacity from 32 litres to 35.5 litres. There is also an integrated USB Type-C charging port, which should prove useful for riders who rely heavily on their smartphones during daily commutes.
The iQube MillionR also gets more than 118 connected technology features, although the press release does not provide a complete breakdown of these features.
Since the MillionR is based on the 3.5 kWh iQube, its battery capacity and range remain unchanged from that version. The claimed 145 km IDC range should give the scooter enough range for typical urban commuting, while the additional storage makes it more practical as a family-oriented electric scooter.
Price and positioning
The TVS iQube MillionR Edition is priced at Rs 1,40,138 (ex-showroom, Karnataka). For reference, the wider iQube range starts at Rs 1,11,310, while BaaS pricing starts at Rs 59,999.
The MillionR Edition is essentially TVS’ way of celebrating the fact that one million families have chosen the iQube.
