Triumph has given a mild mid-life update to its middleweight sports bike, the Daytona 660. The latest update brings a new Showa suspension that can now be adjusted, along with a quickshifter as standard equipment. Moreover, the brand has added new colours for the 2026 update.
Triumph Daytona 660: What has been updated for 2026?
As per the details, the new Daytona 660 is now priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it Rs 11,000 more expensive than before. However, for the increased price, new customers will get a big upgrade in terms of ride experience.
The biggest change is the addition of the new 41 mm Showa upside-down front suspension. This setup can now be adjusted for compression and rebound. The adjustability option is a boon for riders, as they can tune their individual settings as per their riding style and the riding conditions.
However, the upside-down forks still offer 110 mm of travel as the outgoing setup. Meanwhile, the rear monoshock suspension setup is unaltered. It continues to offer 130 mm of travel and preload adjustability.
With that said, Triumph has also added a new bi-directional quickshifter to the 2026 Daytona 660. This feature will now enable riders to upshift or downshift at higher revs, thus improving the aggressive riding experience. This feature was previously offered as an optional accessory, but it will now come as standard.
Gone are the old Michelin Power 6 tyres, as Triumph has now replaced them with the new Metzeler M9 RR tyres. These new tyres are supposed to offer better grip for better performance.
Lastly, the new Daytona 660 is now available in Aluminium Silver colour with Sapphire Black highlights, Cosmic Yellow colour with Sapphire Black highlights, and pure Sapphire Black colour options. The new model is powered by the same 660cc inline-three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that develops 94 bhp and 68 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The other mechanical setup is also unaltered.
