Mahindra is preparing a busy first half of 2027, with three new passenger vehicles scheduled to arrive in India by June. The company has confirmed that the upcoming line-up will include the production versions of the Vision S and BE 07, along with the Scorpio Lifestyler lifestyle pickup.
The announcement came during Mahindra’s Q2 FY2027 results media briefing. Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director and CEO of the Auto and Farm Sectors, confirmed that the company has five major launches planned for the first half of 2027. Apart from these three passenger vehicles, the plan includes a new light commercial vehicle and an update to an existing model.
Mahindra Vision S-based SUV
The production version of the Vision S concept will be the first model based on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ platform. The concept was showcased in August 2025, and test vehicles of the upcoming SUV have already been spotted on Indian roads.
The new model is expected to sit above the XUV 3XO in Mahindra’s portfolio. Spy shots suggest a boxy design, short overhangs, flush-fitting door handles, a panoramic sunroof and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The NU_IQ architecture is designed to support petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric powertrains, although Mahindra has not confirmed the engine options for this particular SUV. Its launch is expected by June 2027.
Mahindra BE 07 electric SUV
The BE 07 will become the second model under Mahindra’s BE electric vehicle sub-brand, sitting above the BE 6. It will use the INGLO platform, which already underpins the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S.
Spy shots have revealed a triple-screen dashboard, while other expected features include a glass roof, multi-colour ambient lighting, a dashcam and Level 2 ADAS. The SUV is likely to use the 59kWh and 79kWh battery options available in the BE 6, though its final specifications are yet to be confirmed. It is also expected to arrive by June 2027.
Scorpio Lifestyler pickup to arrive first
Of the three, the Scorpio Lifestyler is expected to arrive first, with its launch scheduled by April 2027. Based on the 2023 Global Pik Up concept, it shares its body-on-frame underpinnings with the Scorpio N.
Mahindra has confirmed that prices will start below Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The pickup is expected to use the Scorpio N’s 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engines, with manual and automatic gearbox options. Four-wheel drive is also likely to be offered.
