Honda QC3 electric scooter launched at Rs 1.35 lakh, offers 145 km range

Key highlights

  • Honda QC3 launched at Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi
  • Claims a 145km certified IDC range from its 3.0 kWh battery
  • Gets Honda RoadSync, turn-by-turn navigation and 32-litre storage

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the QC3 electric scooter in India at Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi. Positioned as a smart, family-focused electric scooter, the QC3 will initially be introduced in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam through select Honda RedWing dealerships.

Battery and features

The Honda QC3 uses a 3.0 kWh battery and has a certified IDC range of 145 km. Honda says the battery can be charged from zero to 80% in 2 hours and 40 minutes, while a full charge takes approximately four hours.

The scooter gets a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync and turn-by-turn navigation. This brings connected functionality to the QC3, while the 32-litre storage capacity focuses on everyday practicality. A Smart Key is also part of the equipment list.

Honda is positioning the QC3 primarily around urban commuting and family mobility. The combination of relatively large storage, connected features and a claimed 145 km range is intended to address the requirements of riders who use their scooter for regular city travel.

The QC3 will be offered in four colour options: Matt Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue.

Bookings for the electric scooter are now open with a Rs 5,000 booking amount. Customers can book the QC3 through Honda’s website or at the select authorised dealerships in the five launch cities.

The QC3 is part of Honda’s wider electric mobility strategy in India. The company is using the model to expand its EV portfolio while maintaining its focus on practical, everyday two-wheeler mobility.

The QC3 takes a fairly straightforward approach to electric scooter ownership. Rather than focusing purely on performance, Honda has concentrated on range, storage, charging convenience and connected features. The initial five-city rollout will also allow Honda to establish the QC3 in select markets before potentially expanding its availability further.
