Tata Motors has officially revealed the dashboard design of the upcoming Aeris sedan ahead of the official launch on September 25. The upcoming Aeris sedan is essentially a facelift of the Tigor, but with a new name and heavy body rework.
The latest teaser shows the completely redesigned interior that now packs a floating 10.24-inch that gets a 360-degree camera view. Additionally, the new dashboard features a sleek, floating digital driver screen similar to what we get on the Tata Tiago facelift. The steering wheel is also new, with a two-spoke design and features the new mounted controls.
Speaking of the interior theme, Tata has used a mix of beige and grey colours, which offer a more immersive and luxurious feel. Just below the central screen, you will find the new AC control buttons with two rotary dials for fan speed and temperature adjustment. The teaser also shows a wireless charging pad, a new central console with a rotary gearshift knob, and a new central armrest for the front passengers.
The previous teaser has shown that the Aeris will get sharp LED headlights like the new Tiago, streamlined bumpers, and a new sleek connected LED taillight at the rear that will be reminiscent of the Tata Curvv. The exterior teaser image revealed a new matte purple colour as well, and the new alloys painted in gloss black colour.
We expect no mechanical changes to the Aeris. It will offer the same 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engine options as the Tigor. Both powertrains will get the 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Tata will officially launch the Aeris tomorrow in India.
