Kawasaki has launched the MY27 Versys 1100 touring motorcycle in India with a host of changes as part of its mid-life update. The flagship touring motorcycle is now available from Rs 13.89 lakh across India.
What is new on the 2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100?
The new Versys 1100 now packs a few meaningful updates and features. To begin with, it now comes with a wider adjustable windscreen as standard, as opposed to the fixed one of the previous model. This adds to more comfort for the rider, especially during high-speed riding.
The new model also gets a revised engine. It remains powered by the 1,100cc inline-four-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, but this engine now offers 135 PS of peak power output and gets a stronger low-end and mid-range pull, as per the brand.
Moving on, the right-side handle now gets a Type-C USB charging pod to help the rider charge their devices like phones, action cameras, etc, on the go. Meanwhile, the seat has been upgraded for more comfort with the new urethane cushioning. It adjusts as per the weight of the rider and pillion, giving them more comfort.
The bike now also gets the six-axis IMU enhanced technology. These new features add an electronic cruise control system, cornering ABS, a cornering traction control system, and more such features that add to the safety quotient of the motorcycle.
The new model also gets the seamlessly integrated side pannier for luggage. These come with a quick-release function and feature a streamlined design that matches the aesthetics of the Versys 1100.
The new Versys 1100 also gets LED lighting with the signature dual-pod headlight. Kawasaki is offering the new Versys in a single Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Matte Diablo Black colour option in India.
