Range Rover has launched a limited-run SV Sawai Collection, limited to 18 units, offering special design and feature upgrades with exclusive customisation options. The new SV Sawai Collection is priced at Rs 4.90 crore (ex-showroom), and its pre-reservations have commenced.
Range Rover SV Sawai Collection: What is it?
The all-new Range Rover SV Sawai Collection has been introduced to pay homage to three iconic cities of Rajasthan: Sawai Jaipur, Sawai Jodhpur, and Sawai Jaisalmer. Each individual city-specced car features unique design and feature upgrades that align the SUV with the heritage and culture of the city.
With only 18 examples to be sold, the Sawai Collection spec comes with the exclusive 23-inch ‘Champagne’ alloy wheels. The centre cap features the Range Rover monogram, while the ‘Atlas Silver’ package brings chrome and silver accents to the bodywork. Additionally, it gets a 24-karat gold-plated Range Rover branding and an exclusive numbered plate with ‘1 of 6’ for each unit.
The Sawai Jaipur edition gets a special rose-tinted exterior with a terracotta-pink colour. Meanwhile, the door sills get the ‘Sawai Jaipur’ plates, while the interior packs a dual-tone Ecru and Deep Garnet shade with Ebony seatbelts. The seats feature special embroidery that takes inspiration from the “Jharokha” of Hawa Mahal. Customers also get pillows and optional Ebony carpets.
On the other hand, the Sawai Jodhpur edition gets a soft-blue exterior paint shade that matches the “Blue City” title of Jodhpur. On the inside, it gets a Perlino and Riviera dual-tone interior theme with Perlino seatbelts. Additionally, the seat embroidery pattern is inspired by the “jali” design that is widely seen across the city’s infrastructure. The steering wheel is finished in Perlino leather with Ash Burr. Meanwhile, the floor carpets get a Liberty Blue finish.
Lastly, the Sawai Jaisalmer edition takes inspiration from the “Golden City” of Jaisalmer, featuring a similar golden exterior paint that matches the city’s sand walls. On the inside, it features Perlino and Caraway leather upholstery with Perlino seatbelts. The seat embroidery features a similar pattern to the city’s buildings and architecture, while the floor mats are finished in Caraway fabric.
All three editions are already pre-booked. Range Rover has based the Sawai Collection on the 4.4L V8 twin-turbo petrol engine.
