Key highlights
- 286 cc liquid-cooled engine produces 27.6 PS and 24.5 Nm
- Standard variant weighs 173kg, while the E-Clutch version weighs 176kg

Honda has officially revealed the India-specific technical specifications of the Rebel 300, giving us a clearer picture of its mechanical package and equipment ahead of customer deliveries. The motorcycle was launched in India in August 2026, with prices starting at Rs 2.22 lakh for the standard version and Rs 2.62 lakh for the E-Clutch variant, both ex-showroom.
The Rebel 300 is powered by a 286 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine producing 27.6 PS at 8,000 rpm and 24.5 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. While the standard version gets an assist and slipper clutch, the more expensive variant features Honda’s E-Clutch technology.
The system automatically operates the clutch during starts, stops and gear changes. Riders still need to use the conventional foot-operated gear shifter, but no clutch-lever input is required. The clutch lever can also be used normally whenever the rider prefers.
Low seat height, but limited ground clearance
One of the Rebel 300’s biggest selling points is its accessible riding position. The motorcycle has a seat height of just 690 mm, which should make it approachable for a wider range of riders. It has a 1,506 mm wheelbase and measures 2,200 mm in length. However, ground clearance is relatively low at 129 mm. This could require some caution while negotiating taller speed breakers, particularly with a pillion on board.
The motorcycle gets telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. It rides on 16-inch wheels with a 130/90 front tyre and a 150/80 rear tyre. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
TFT display and Honda RoadSync connectivity
Honda has confirmed a TFT instrument display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a USB Type-C charging port. The equipment list also includes LED headlamps and tail lamps, along with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
The standard Rebel 300 weighs 173 kg, while the E-Clutch version tips the scales at 176kg. Both variants get an 11.2-litre fuel tank.
