This year’s EICMA 2026 has served as a solid ground for a set of new motorcycles. Out of all manufacturers showing new products, Suzuki has also thrown its surprise in the form of the all-new GSX-10R super sports bike.

Revealed at the ongoing show in Italy, the new GSX-10R will be positioned alongside the flagship GSX-R1000R. However, it is not as sharp as the latter, and it comes with a more “modest” inline-four engine sourced from the K5 GSX-R sports bike.

Now we know that this 152 bhp and 106 Nm engine already serves a multitude of motorcycles for the brand, and it is a solid powertrain that is rich in low-end and mid-range torque. If we compare the GSX-10R to the GSX-R1000R, the bike is 43 bhp short on power. However, the torque is just 4 Nm lesser than the latter, which makes it a utility-friendly sports bike.

The GSX-10R packs a sharp design with a lightweight fairing and aggressive bodywork. The fascia gets a projector LED headlamp and a clear windscreen, while the sculpted fuel tank and short wheelbase offer sharp handling.

Additionally, it is packed with a host of electronics as well. It gets a six-axis IMU that adds electronic cruise control, a bi-directional quickshifter, lean-sensitive ABS, ride modes, traction control modes, wheelie control, launch control, engine braking control, slide control system (first for a Suzuki bike worldwide), and even hill-hold control. It also gets a small LCD console that displays all necessary information on the go.

Technically, it uses a twin-spar aluminium frame and the bike is suspended over the fully adjustable KYB USD forks and KYB rear monoshock suspension. It weighs 214 kg, which makes it slightly heavier than the flagship GSX-R1000R, but with 810 mm seat height, it is quite manageable.

With that said, Suzuki has revealed the price for the GSX-10R in the European market. The brand has not announced any plans to launch it in India.
