Citroen India has revised the variants of the AircrossX, BasaltX, and e-C3X by adding newer variants that offer turbo and non-turbo engines with more features at a lower cost. Additionally, the electric e-C3X has also gained a range of 330 km, as opposed to 325 km before.
Speaking of the details, the AircrossX now features a turbo engine on a new variant called You Turbo Comfort Edition, which is priced at Rs 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the brand has also added a naturally aspirated petrol engine on a new variant called Max NA, which is priced at Rs 11.62 lakh (ex-showroom). This version offers all the features of the top ‘Max’ variant at a lower price tag.
Following a similar strategy, the BasaltX has also gained a more affordable turbocharged engine option in a new variant called You Turbo, which is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition, customers can also opt for a new naturally aspirated Max variant called Max NA, which brings the features of the top model at a lower price tag of Rs 11.34 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mind you, both Max NA variants on the AircrossX and BasaltX can also be opted for with a factory-fitted CNG powertrain. Meanwhile, the electric e-C3X has also received a minor update. It is now available with 5 km more range than before, and the company is now offering it at Rs 6.99 lakh with a BaaS option. The BaaS option is available with a Rs 2.26/km battery EMI.
With all of these changes, the AircrossX and BasaltX now offer more value than before. Their respective turbo variants pack a punchy performance at a considerably lower rate as compared to their respective rivals in the Indian market.
