Skoda India has announced that it will pass the new GST benefits to its customers as it is. The new rates have led to massive cuts in the prices of Skoda cars. Read more below.

GST 2.0 rate list of Skoda cars in India
The recently revised GST slabs in India have brought a sigh of relief among auto makers. The new rates have decreased the prices of a majority of cars and two-wheelers in India. Hence, auto makers are passing the benefits on to customers.
Slated to go live from September 22, the new GST rates have led to a cut down in the prices of Skoda cars by up to Rs 3.30 lakh. A detailed list of the new price cut of all Skoda models is below:

As per the newly revised rates, cars below 1,200cc (petrol) and 1,500cc (diesel) with a length below 4 metres will now be subjected to 18% GST, as opposed to 28% earlier.
Similarly, cars above 1,500cc and with a ength above 4 metres will be capped at 40%, which was earlier up to 50%. This has led to generous price cuts on all Skoda models.
However, it is the Kodiaq that enjoys the massive cut at Rs 3.30 lakh. Skoda is also offering an additional benefit of Rs 2.50 lakh, which makes the Kodiaq cheaper by Rs 5.80 lakh.
