Hyundai Creta variants rejig details
The latest move from Hyundai comes in the form of the removal of the SX Tech and SX (O) variants from the Creta SUV variant options. These variants were allegedly in low demand, and hence the company has removed them.
Speaking of the details, the SX Tech was a mid-spec variant that came with the Level 2 ADAS safety suite at an affordable price. However, it has now been removed, and customers willing to buy the ADAS-equipped version will now need to buy the new top-spec variant.
Meanwhile, the SX (O) variant was initially introduced as the range-topping variant. However, it was later replaced by the King variant that got launched last year. Hence, it was in low demand due to the King variant, which eventually led to its discontinuation.
With that said, the Creta SUV is now available in seven variants: E, EX, EX (O), S (O), SX, SX Premium, and SX King. The starting price of the Creta range in India is Rs 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai is also working on the third-gen Creta that is slated to be launched in India next year. It will be bigger and more feature-rich than the current version.
