Maruti Tour S, a Dzire-based taxi model that is offered only for the commercial operators, has now received its major competition. Hyundai has launched the Prime range, which includes the HB (hatchback) and SD (sedan) variants, with a starting price of Rs 6 lakh (HB) and Rs 6.90 lakh (SD).
Both Prime models are the base CNG counterparts of the Grand i10 Nios and the Aura sedan. Hyundai has equipped these models with the 1.2-litre CNG engine that is also offered on the regular versions.
Speaking of the features, the HB comes loaded with adjustable headrests, electrically adjustable ORVMs, central locking, rear AC vents, all-four power windows, steering-mounted audio controls, speakers, and Type-C charging ports.

In terms of efficiency, Hyundai claims a mileage of 27.32 km/kg (HB) and 28.40 km/kg (SD). The running cost for both models is claimed to be as low as 47 paise per kilometer.
