Kia has introduced the new battery rental financing options for the Carens Clavis EV, which have been specifically curated for the Indian market’s needs. Read below its complete details.

Kia Carens Clavis EV BaaS financing scheme explained
The Carens Clavis EV is now available with the Battery-as-a-Service rental scheme. The BaaS option is available with smart financing options, which have been curated in collaboration with various insurers like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Bajaj Finserv.
As per this scheme, Kia will create various loan accounts for separate parts like the chassis, battery, drivetrain, and more, to keep transparency and flexibility in EV ownership. This program includes the financing plans with ownership starting at Rs 51,520 with the transparent battery repayment plan of Rs 3.3/km.
Moreover, the financing options range between 60 months for the body and up to 96 months for the battery and motor. Mind you, the Carens Clavis EV is available with two battery packs: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, offering 404 km and 490 km range, respectively.
