What to expect from the upcoming Leapmotor B10?
The design sketch filing of the Leapmotor B10 reveals that Stellantis is advancing in introducing the former Chinese car brand in India soon. The B10 SUV is a superhit in China, where it received more than 30,000 bookings within the first 48 hours of launch.
Speaking of the B10, it boasts a conventional boxy design with modern elements like the sleek connected LED lights, an upright stance, retractable door handles, and a big greenhouse. It is positioned around Rs 15 lakh (approx) in China, and it measures 4.5 metres in length, thus placing it against the VinFast VF7 and BYD Atto 3 in India.
On the inside, it gets a clean cabin design with upmarket fit and finish. The features include a vertical 14.6-inch floating infotainment screen, an 8.8-inch digital driver display, OTA updates, a Snapdragon chipset, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, electric seats with ventilation, and more.
The B10 is offered in pure electric and extended range EV versions in China. The former gets up to 67.1 kWh of battery pack, offering 218 bhp and 434 km range. Meanwhile, the hybrid or the range extender version is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is paired to an 18.8 kWh battery pack, which can also be charged by a charging port. This setup delivers 218 bhp and up to 900 km of range.
