- Mahindra BE 6 to get a new variant soon
- Interior design spied with a new dashboard
- Gets a triple-screen display similar to the XEV 9S and XEV 9e
Mahindra might soon introduce a new, more affordable variant of the BE 6 electric coupe-SUV. The interior design of this upcoming version has leaked online before launch, showing the new cabin with an updated dashboard and new central console.
What to expect from the new Mahindra BE 6 version?
While Mahindra is quite about any upcoming BE 6 version launch, the interior details of this new EV have leaked online. The new spy shot shows that the updated BE 6 version will offer a new dashboard with a more ‘conventional’ design like the XEV 9S and XEV 9e electric SUVs.
This new version ditches the futuristic and cluttered dashboard layout that is seen on the current version. The curved display has been replaced by the triple-screen display that offers information in a more simplified manner with a better user experience. We think that the reason behind updating the screen with this display could be the feedback from the current owners. Moreover, the cabin theme has been changed from black and grey to black and tan.
Additionally, the second biggest change can be seen on the centre console. Gone is the ‘spine’ design that partitioned the front row with a racecar-like interior design. The new version now features a more practical and conventional centre console design without any partition. The visible design elements include the twin wireless charging pads, a gloss black storage console behind the gearshift lever, and button controls for the electronic parking brake, etc.
Judging by the interior changes, we feel that this particular version is likely to be positioned as a new ‘affordable’ version. However, it is possible that it could be a new version after all. Moreover, Mahindra has planned a grand event on August 15, 2026, and as always, the brand will display some concept models, which could include this specific car. More details are likely to surface in the coming days.
