Renault cars 2026 price hike details
Joining the New Year price hike bandwagon is Renault, as the French brand has announced that it will hike the prices of its models in India from January 1, 2026. While the individual price hike details have not been released, the maximum price revision will be up to 2 percent.
With that said, Renault will also launch two new cars in India in 2026. These will include the new-gen Duster, which is based on the same CMF-B platform as the Nissan Tekton, while the second model is expected to be a 7-seater SUV.
The new-gen Duster will be launched on January 26, 2026. It will be offered with a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine with a mild-hybrid engine. It is also expected to get an AWD configuration option on the top-spec variants.
Meanwhile, the 7-seater SUV will be a completely new model. It will not use the Duster’s CMF-B platform, and it will most probably get the same powertrain options as the new-gen Duster. This SUV is slated to debut later next year.
