Revolt has launched a new electric motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler market. The new model is called RVX, and it has been priced at Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom), inclusive of the PM E-Drive incentives.
The RVX offers a semi-committed naked sportsbike-like feel, which is a crossover between a sportsbike and a daily commuter. Its styling highlights include oval LED headlights with daytime running lights, USD front forks, an upright handlebar position, a sculpted dummy fuel tank with tank shrouds extending to the lower half of the battery components, a split-seat design, and a raised tail section.
Powering the RVX is a 3.24 kWh removable NMC battery pack that is paired to an IP67-rated 4 kW mid-drive PMSM electric motor that produces 5.3 kW of maximum power. It can sprint 0-40 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and the top speed is 90 km/h, which can be achieved by using Boost mode.
The ARAI-claimed range of the RVX electric bike is 160 km. It also supports fast charging, which can juice it 0-80 per cent in 80 minutes. The e-motorcycle also features four riding modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Boost.
Other features of the RVX electric motorcycle include a 3.5-inch IP67-rated TFT touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones, telematics, over-the-air updates for the operating software, reverse mode, hill-hold assist, walk assist, immobiliser, vehicle location, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS and call alerts.
The new RVX is available in three colours: Electric Blue, Eclipse Black, and Pearl Black. Bookings for the RVX are now open nationwide, and deliveries are expected to commence shortly.
