Royal Enfield is known to introduce special, limited-run motorcycles that are manufactured with a touch of uniqueness. One such example is the new Shotgun 650 limited-edition, which has been launched at Rs 5.75 lakh in India. The new limited-edition bike has been crafted in collaboration with Rough Crafts, a custom motorcycle builder, and only 100 units of these will ever be made.

What makes the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts special?

As per Royal Enfield, only 25 units of the Rough Crafts Shotgun 650 have been commissioned for the Indian market. The bike is priced steeply, and the reason behind this is its exclusivity, coupled with hand-crafted highlights. The custom model features the Jet Black and Matt Stealth Black colour combination, which is highlighted by the hand-painted gold leaf detailing along with grey accents.

Additionally, the custom Shotgun 650 features a cast brass collaboration badge, individual numbering on the fuel tank, black bar-end mirrors, contrast-cut black alloy wheels, quilted leather seat, and gold-coloured fork tubes. Adding further to the exclusivity is the numbered artwork of the Caliber Royale sketch signed by Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts.

Powering the limited-edition Shotgun is the 648cc parallel-twin oil-cooled motor that makes 46.39 bhp and 52.3 Nm of power and torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper assist clutch.

The pre-bookings of the new Rough Crafts Shotgun 650 Limited Edition bike will commence globally on July 30, at 7 PM (IST). The bookings can only be made via the Royal Enfield mobile phone app and the company’s website. However, it is priced quite steeply, especially considering that the standard Shotgun 650 is positioned at Rs 4.16 lakh (ex-showroom). Since it is a collector’s bike, the price does not matter, but the exclusivity and feeling of owning one matter the most.
