The new 60S EVO intercom device packs a revised design and a Bose sound system. It works with Mesh and Bluetooth pairing, which allows pairing with multiple rider groups without using a phone, and pairing with a phone to make calls, listen to music, and more. While these features are not new to the 60S, the EVO adds Bose’s WaveForm Audio Engine and SoundDesign Tuning.
This setup is packed well within the helmet, and it also supports the Sena’s Active Noise Cancellation Earbuds. These earbuds have been specifically designed to provide protection against the wind and road noise, while offering an in-built sound system. This offers a complete sound ecosystem for Sena within the helmet.
On the other hand, the brand is also offering a limited lifetime warranty to customers. Now this is something unique, considering that the intercom is a device that faces harsh conditions like rain, dust, UV rays, heat, vibrations, and more. While the price is not out yet, we believe it will be a premium intercom, and a lifetime warranty will surely act as a big motivator for new buyers.
Moreover, it is IP67-rated, which means you can easily ride in rain. It also features an LED light that comes handy during dark riding conditions, while the switchable face plates offer contrasting customisation with your helmet’s design.
