Which six cars will Honda launch in India?

Honda’s upcoming plan for the Indian market looks quite serious. In fact, the brand also announced the same during the City facelift’s launch event. Takashi Nakajima, CEO and President of Honda India, revealed that the next year is going to be evolutionary and course-changing for the brand in India.

As per Takashi, the carmaker is planning to launch new models in the Indian market in FY2026-2027. These models will include the initial launch of its first BEV based on the 0 Alpha platform. The testing of this car has already commenced in India, and it is expected to arrive later this year or early next year.

Following it will be the CBU models, which could include the CR-V, Accord, Civic, and Prelude Hybrid. The sixth car is suspected to be a new compact SUV, which will rival the most cut-throat segment that includes the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue.

With that said, the announcement of these plans also reveal that the carmaker is serious for the Indian market, and the rumours of Honda leaving India are not true.
