Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo gets two new limited-edition colours

Key highlights

  • The Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo gets two new dual-tone colour options
  • New shades include Shimla Green and Steel Grey limited to just 200 units
  • Continues with the Monte Carlo’s blacked-out styling and red-and-black cabin theme

Skoda Auto India has added a little more exclusivity to the Slavia Monte Carlo with the introduction of two new dual-tone colour options. The limited-edition shades, Shimla Green and Steel Grey, will be available across just 200 units.

The new colour options are aimed at buyers who want something a little more distinctive than the standard Slavia Monte Carlo. And given that the Monte Carlo already leans heavily into the sporty side of the Slavia’s personality, these new shades should certainly help it stand out a bit more.

Two new colours, limited numbers

The new dual-tone finishes are:

  • Shimla Green
  • Steel Grey

Both options are available exclusively on the Slavia Monte Carlo and are limited to 200 units in total.

The special edition continues with the Monte Carlo’s signature blacked-out exterior elements, along with the red-and-black interior theme.

Same engines, same performance

There are no mechanical changes to the Slavia Monte Carlo.

The 1.0-litre TSI produces 115 PS and 178 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.

The more powerful 1.5-litre TSI develops 150 PS and 250 Nm and comes paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The larger engine also gets Active Cylinder Technology, which can shut down two cylinders under light loads to improve fuel efficiency.

Skoda’s motorsport connection

The Monte Carlo name pays homage to Skoda’s long association with the legendary Rallye Monte Carlo, which dates back to 1912.

The Slavia Monte Carlo is also part of Skoda’s wider India lineup of models carrying the motorsport-inspired badge, alongside the Kushaq Monte Carlo.

Our thoughts

The Monte Carlo badge is usually limited to just the White and Red liveries of Skoda models. The addition of these two new colours gives buyers a choice who would like to own something unique. The Shimla Green with the Monte Carlo styling, eye catching!
