What to expect from the Honda City facelift?
The latest spy shots of the upcoming City facelift have surfaced from Brazil. The front profile of the camouflaged test car is seen equipped with a completely revised front profile from the current model.
The visible updates on the front include the new, sharper LED headlights with turn indicators embedded in the DRLs. Meanwhile, the front grille and the front bumper have also been redesigned to give it a distinctive outlook.
The side profile looks more or less the same as the current model. However, it will add a new set of alloy wheels with a dual-tone design. Moreover, the mirrors are equipped with 360-degree camera equipment, further hinting at the new features.
The rear profile is likely going to undergo fewer updates. We believe that it will be uplifted with a new rear bumper design.
Among the pool of C-segment sedans in India, the City is the one with the least features. However, the new City facelift will likely add a bigger infotainment screen, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, ambient lights, and more.
Since it is a facelift, the upcoming City will remain unchanged mechanically. It will continue to be offered with the bulletproof 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, i-Vtec petrol engine, developing 120 bhp and 145 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission.
The updated City facelift is likely to be launched in India on May 22 along the ZR-V Hybrid. The latter will be offered as a CBU model.
