What to expect from the Hyundai Exter facelift?
The new Exter facelift was recently spied on the road around the outskirts of Chennai. The camouflaged test car was seen equipped with a set of redesigned front and rear bumpers. However, it had the same H-shaped LED DRLs and the rectangular headlamp design as the current model.
While its overall silhouette remains unaltered, the Exter facelift will offer mild and subtle changes to its exterior design. These will include a new front grille, new bumpers, and probably new alloy wheels on the top-spec trims. Although the test car had the current model’s alloy wheels.
There are no significant changes on the outside, but we expect that the cabin is likely to get a new dashboard design with a bigger infotainment screen and a new digital console. Hyundai is likely to equip the Exter facelift with more connected features and improved safety features.
Mechanically, the Exter facelift is likely to remain unchanged. It will continue offering the 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with the 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The Exter facelift will also get a factory-fitted CNG option.
Hyundai is likely to launch the Exter facelift in the first quarter of 2026. Its prices will witness a slight hike due to the new feature additions.
