What to expect from the new Oben electric bike?
The upcoming Oben electric motorcycle has been teased online ahead of its official unveiling scheduled on April 30. The Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer is likely to position this new model above its existing models, making it a premium offering.
A close look at the teaser photo shows a modern and aggressive design of the headlamp. A long wraparound LED DRL is positioned above the projector LED headlight, which hints at premium hardware. Oben currently sells affordable electric commuter bikes with decent features and range. However, the brand lacks a premium product, which could be this upcoming model.
We believe that it will be a completely new model and it might not share its unerpinnings or battery/motor setup with the existing models. The brand’s approach will be to target young buyers who want performance, aggressive looks, and modern features at an attractive price tag.
