Yokohama India has introduced a new white-letter version of its Geolander A/T all-terrain tyre, adding a visual upgrade aimed at SUV owners who want a more rugged look. The 15-inch version is now locally produced in India and gets an Outline White Letter design on the sidewall.
Unlike a conventional black sidewall, the contrasting lettering makes the tyre more prominent from the side. Yokohama is positioning the new finish towards SUV owners who use their vehicles for road trips, outdoor activities and occasional trail driving.
Made in India and aimed at popular SUVs
The 15-inch Geolander A/T is suited to a range of SUVs and utility vehicles, with the company specifically mentioning the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Mahindra Bolero. The white lettering is intended to complement the more rugged character associated with these vehicles.
The Geolander A/T was previously available in India through imports. It is now being manufactured at Yokohama India’s facility in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking a shift towards local production.
The company currently offers the Outline White Letter 15-inch version in two sizes. It also plans to expand the locally produced range to include 16-inch, 17-inch and 18-inch sizes in 2027. Y

The new white-letter finish does not change the underlying positioning of the Geolander A/T. Instead, it gives owners another way to personalise their SUVs while retaining the tyre’s existing all-terrain-oriented design.
