2026 Bajaj Avenger Street 220: Everything to know
The new Avenger Street 220 is now listed on the official website of the brand at Rs 1,30,172 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is marginally more expensive than the Avenger Cruiser 220, a variant that focuses on retro styling and cruise-oriented elements.
On the other hand, the Avenger Street 220 is more of a cruiser-sportster model. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out engine and exhaust components, blacked-out mirrors and headlamp cowl, and black pillion grab rail. This contrast is well matched by its two colour options, which include Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red.
The riding position on the Street version has also been tweaked for a more sportier appeal. Hence, you can feel the handlebar is tilted towards the front, and the rider’s footpegs positioned slightly towards the front. Meanwhile, features of the bike include a semi-digital instrument panel, clear-lens turn signals, and a front fork gaiter kit.
Powering the Avenger Street is the 220cc single-cylinder oil-cooled motor that makes 19 bhp and 17.6 Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission. The Street 220 also features a 280 mm front disc brake with a single-channel ABS.
Rumours are that the Avenger Street 220 has been introduced to replace the outgoing Avenger 160. Its pre-bookings are now open, and the deliveries are expected to commence shortly.
