The latest sighting of the next-generation Kia Sonet arrives from the land of high passes, i.e. Ladakh. The fresh spy shots show a camouflaged test unit running across Leh city, while its exterior details are partially visible.
What to expect from the 2027 Kia Sonet?

The new spy shots of the next-generation Sonet show a completely new design. While the camouflage is doing its job well, we can sense the new body panels with a cleaner design and flush door handles.
The silhouette of the next-gen model is a tad more upright at the back, while the new LED lights are also visible. The fascia is likely to get a more aggressive stance with a new bumper, new grille, and new connected LED lights. The LED headlamps are positioned on the lower half and are switched on in the spy shots.
Meanwhile, the side profile gets the new dual-tone alloy wheels. These are likely to be R17 in size. The rear design packs a new boot with sharp wraparound LED taillights that get a connected pattern.
The interior details are yet to be revealed, but we can safely say that it will get a fresh cabin design. The new dashboard is likely to feature a connected triple-screen display, a new user interface, wireless connectivity, wireless charging, and comfort features like ventilated front seats, improved NVH, new sound system, etc.

The test car also has the ADAS module. We believe that the new-gen Sonet will offer Level 2+ autonomous safety features.
Under the bonnet, the engine and transmission options are unlikely to be changed. However, the suspension will be tuned for more comfort, while the engines are likely to offer improved performance, refinement, and efficiency.
The next-generation Sonet is expected to make debut by Q1 2027. With new features and styling, its price is likely to take a slight hike.
