Kia wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay adapter details
The long-overdue wait of Kia customers in India has been fulfilled as the company has finally launched the portable wired-to-wireless device for its complete range.
As per the details, the new wireless adapter has been priced at Rs 4,344, and it is compatible with every Kia model that has wired phone mirroring, which currently includes the Seltos, Sonet, Carens, and Carens Clavis.
This plug-and-play device enables you to connect your phone to the infotainment screen and further use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay without any lag.
A similar wired-to-wireless adapter was also introduced by Hyundai not long ago. However, Kia’s adapter is slightly cheaper than Hyundai’s adapter, which is priced at Rs 4,499.
As of now, the top-spec trims of the brand’s models are equipped with wireless connectivity. However, the mid-spec variant does not get the option of wireless connectivity, instead, these are loaded with the wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which is inconvenient to some users as it involves managing a wire.
