Tata Motors has achieved yet another milestone in safety as its only hatchback, Altroz, scored 5 stars in the latest BNCAP crash tests. Read all the details below.

Tata Altroz BNCAP crash test result explained
Expanding Tata’s expertise in making safe cars at affordable prices, the new Altroz has added another feather in the brand’s cap. The Altroz has scored 5 stars in the latest crash tests conducted by BNCAP.
Speaking of the details, it managed to score 29.65/32 points for the adult occupant safety, while it received 44.90/49 points for the child occupant safety. Furthermore, it got 22.90/24 points in the dynamic assessment score, 12/12 in CRS installation, and 9/13 in the vehicle assessment.
In the frontal offset barrier test, it scored “good” protection for the head, neck, chest, and lower body of the front passengers. Additionally, the lower legs of the driver were rated “good” in the protection score.
Mind you, the new Altroz was launched a few months ago with radical improvements to its design, cabin, and safety features. It comes equipped with 6 airbags as standard, along with ABS, EBD, BA, and traction control. With the new 5-star score in BNCAP, it is now the safest hatchback in India.
